SEEKING HEALTHY AND DIABETIC VOLUNTEERS: Studying the safety of Montbretin A

This is a clinical trial for healthy volunteers (no medications except birth control and/or vitamins) AND adults with Type 2 Diabetes (T2D) that is managed by diet and no other medications. The purpose of the trial is to learn more about the safety and tolerability of Montbretin A, a new Natural Product made from garden flower, in healthy volunteers as well as individuals with type 2 diabetes.
Volunteers will be given a thorough explanation about the trial and the study treatment, and all questions will be answered. Those who consent to participate will then undergo one screening visit and a series of treatment visits which involve consuming the study treatment followed by a standardized meal, along with other tests and measurements. Afterwards, there will be two follow-up visit at the end of the study.
