The Northern Centre for Clinical Research (NCCR) aspires to support and contribute to clinical research excellence in Northern British Columbia. Through its partnerships, NCCR aims to be responsive to the contexts and needs of the North, including rural, remote, and Indigenous populations across Northern BC. The NCCR is currently seeking a Patient Partner to serve on its Advisory Committee.

Attendance to up to four 1.5 hrs. meetings per year, meeting preparation time, and adhoc meeting and consultations between scheduled advisory meetings if required. After you express interest, the research team will contact you to confirm your eligibility and provide more information about screening and selection process. At this stage you may be asked to respond questions such as: 1. Have you participated in patient experience, patient engagement opportunities in a health project or a healthcare initiative in Northen BC in the past? 2. In what ways your lived experience can inform NCCR’s Advisory Committee? 3. Other questions to understand participant’s interest in research and suitability
