Opportunity Purpose

We need to better understand how off-road vehicles are being used in Northern BC (e.g., ATVs/quads, dirt bikes, motocross bikes, utility vehicles, and side-by-sides). We are seeking ways to prevent off-road vehicle injury/death. We will conduct a survey including questions such as: • Do you or your family members ride off-road? • Where do you ride, and how often? • Have you been injured when riding? • What ideas do you have to make riding safer?

Details

After volunteers express interest, our team will reach out to determine eligibility and share more details on next steps. 1. The selected participant will receive an orientation to the research project and purpose. 2. A draft of the survey will be shared by e-mail for review and feedback. 3. The participant will join a 2-hour online meeting to discuss their feedback with members of the research team. 4. The survey will be updated and two weeks later and the participant will join a second 2-hour to review and finalize the changes. The participant will be asked to help ensure questions are clear and relevant to off-road vehicle users in Northern BC.
