This study will include any long-term care residents, their family care partners, and care providers (long-term care staff) who had experiences with connecting virtually during COVID-19 for family visitation purposes. We are looking to assess perspectives about the rapid rollout of virtual family visits during the pandemic to understand better how these services can be improved and/or changed for the future.
Following a review of the study details, informed consent is provided to voluntarily be involved in the research. Participants will be asked about their virtual family visitation experiences in long-term care during the COVID-19 pandemic and preferences for virtual family visits in an interview / focus group (about 45 minutes). Participants will be provided a $50 honorarium.
