MicroResearch provides free training & supports for partner-led research project development to benefit communities. Research workshops (online/in-person Surrey): ten lessons over 3 weeks & proposal co-creation, coaching & seed grants for teams of residents, family, volunteers, students & healthcare providers/leaders wanting to improve long-term care & assisted living. Researchers (trainees to professors) can join as participants or coaches.
Research workshops: 10 sessions of 3-4 hours mornings of November 15 to December 6. Flexible options to engage include: Team member (full-time): learn about research, develop a research proposal, participate in all sessions (or as many as possible) and get a certificate. Team member (part-time): develop a research proposal (flexible timing; lecture recordings available). Coach: experienced researcher or long-term care & assisted living knowledge expert supporting a team to develop a research proposal. Audit the course: participate in sessions of interest per availability (very flexible). Panel Judge: engage as a judge by providing feedback on research proposals at the last session.
