Study Purpose

Our study aims to explore how Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) impacts memory and cognitive functions. We are seeking volunteers with CPTSD to share their experiences through semi-structured interviews. The insights gathered will help us better understand the daily cognitive challenges faced by individuals with CPTSD. Ultimately, our goal is to improve diagnosis and treatment for this condition, advancing mental health care.

Details

Participants in the study must be between 19 and 65 and either self-identify as having complex trauma or have been diagnosed with CPTSD by a medical professional. You will be asked to fill out 2 questionnaires and participate in a semi-structured online interview. Interviews will be conducted, but your identity will remain completely confidential, and no intimate trauma details are required. The study focuses on how CPTSD affects cognitive abilities, not on reliving trauma. Once the research is complete, participants can request a copy of the published results.
