Closed Recruitment
Stress, Other General Health , Other Men’s Health , Other Mental Health , Other Older Adults
We are seeking people who are survivors of Complex Relational Trauma (CRT) and suffer from Complex PTSD to partner with researchers and clinicians to develop a healthcare resource about this type of trauma. This project was initiated by another survivor, Lori Herod, Ed.D., who is the founder and administrator of “Out of the Storm”, a website and forum for people with CRT. The project is being coordinated by Dr. Colette Smart.
If you're interested, you'll receive an email invitation to a virtual information session to learn more about the project. Information sessions will be held in early June. After attending an information session, you will be invited to complete an eligibility questionnaire. The research team (including Lori Herod, patient lead) will select 6 patient partners. Once selected, you will be invited to collaborate with the research team to develop a healthcare resource about CRT and Complex PTSD. You will be asked to join Zoom meetings and review reading materials. Zoom meetings will be held between July and September on weekdays between 9:00-4:00pm, PST. Activities can be completed remotely.
