Symptoms of menopause – usually hot flashes and night sweats – are very common and can have a huge impact on quality of life, yet treatment options remain very limited. This study aims to fill this unmet need. The study will test the safety and tolerability of a single dose of ABCL635 to see its effects in postmenopausal people with moderate to severe hot flashes and night sweats by blocking the activity of temperature controlling cells.

Participation in this study will be up to 26 weeks with 15 in-person visits. Screening will take 3-5 hours, baseline and follow-up visits will be 1-2 hours. Every day throughout the study you will self-report symptoms (hot flashes and/or night sweats) via an electronic diary using your phone/tablet/computer. Once eligible, you will receive either a single dose of ABCL635 or placebo.
