Calling All Autistic Voices & Caregivers
On Hold
Chronic Pain, Autism, Other General Health , Other Men’s Health , Other Mental Health
Hello There! Autistic children and young adults are at a higher risk of pain experiences, but very little is known about how autistic young people experience everyday pain. It is important to have the input and voices of autistic folks and their caregivers to help power and guide this project to be mindful and meaningful to the community this research study will serve.
What your involvement could look like? • Participating in team meetings, responding to communications, reading and providing feedback on written documents, co-creating materials (e.g. infographics, summaries, art pieces) • Sharing lived experience and knowledge of your own and/or family member’s journey with pain • Helping identify what needs to be improved to help fill in the gaps in the health care and needs of autistic children and youth.
